Whale Safari / Mr. Puffin

We at Whale Safari are pioneers in whale and puffin watching on RIB boats here in Iceland.. The company was founded with the ambition to bring nature lovers and adventurers closer to the wildlife and nature of Faxaflói bay. All our tours are personal small group tours and they are real ocean safaris, as the ride on our RIB speedboats out on the North Atlantic waters is an adventure in itself.   

From April to October we offer scheduled wildlife tours as well as a variety of private tours - ideal for tailored itineraries both for groups and individuals. Our tours leave from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík, conveniently located right in Reykjavík's city center.   Our aim is to provide outstanding whale and puffin watching tours in harmony with nature. Therefore we use our fast & fun RIB boats with the utmost respect for the wildlife. 

In our fleet we have 6 RIB speedboats or zodiac's that seat 12 passengers each so we can accommodate both groups and individuals for an up close & personal experience. We offer up to 19 daily departures during the high season both for puffin watching tours and two hours tours that combine whale watching and puffin watching - not just during the day also early morning tours and evening tours. The RIB boats are a very special kind of inflatable power boats that are lightweight but with high performance abilities which make them extremely stable, nimble and therefore seaworthy! Our passengers can comfortably & securely enjoy their adventures out on the North Atlantic waters.
