Sjávarsetrið

Sjávarsetrið is a new restaurant by the Sandgerði harbour. 

Warm and cosy interior grabs as soon as you walk inside, here everyone should feel good. Sjávarsetrið is the vision of two young couples with different backgrounds and different taste for food. Concept of the restaurant reflects that combination. Some of the group wanted to make a seafood restaurant while others wanted a cosy feeling restaurant with a little bit more diversity. Resulting in a seafood influenced restaurant. 

Our uniqueness is a borehole located in our backyard, pumping seawater witch allow us to keep shell fish alive, and therefor the food we produce is always fresh.
