Kollsvik

Kollsvik is a beautiful bay in southern parts of Westfjords. Formerly a fruitful settlement living of farming and fishing, now less populated since farming seized in the area in the year 2002 and fisheries have relocated. Kollsvíkurver was one of the biggest "Verstöð" an organized fishing settlement in the Westfjords early 20th century.

Kollsvik is know for it nature and history, therefore a popular during summer months among tourists and the locals.
