Vallakot Guesthouse

Vallakot Farm Guesthouse is a small guesthouse, located in North Iceland near Lake Myvatn. It is situated in a green and peaceful valley called Reykjadalur and the village Laugar is only a few kilometres away with a restaurant, a swimming pool and other amenities.

The guesthouse is housed in two separate buildings, one offers double and twin rooms and the other has studio apartments. The rooms have shared bathroom facilities but guests staying in the rooms have access to a shared living lounge area, a terrace with outdoor furniture and a hot tube with wonderful views of Reykjadalur valley.

The studio apartments have private bathrooms and small kitchenettes with basic equipment. Guests staying in the studio apartments also have access to the guesthouse hot tub.

It is perfectly located if you want to explore the natural wonders of North Iceland. Many of the regions main attractions are located within short driving distances to the guesthouse is ideal to serve as a base when travelling in North Iceland.

Vallakot Farm Guesthouse has a friendly and homely atmosphere. We offer a hearty breakfast each morning which is always included in the room rate. The breakfast is served in the guesthouse main building.
