Skarfabakki is the main departure point for the Viðey ferry. It’s about 4.5 km walk from the Downtown tourist information centre, passing many points of interest
on the shoreline. It is also connected by city bus n°5 departing from Hlemmur bus station. Skarfabakki is also one of the stops on the Hop On - Hop Off City Sightseeing Bus route.
Tickets are available at the ticket office in Skarfabakki before departure and at Elding’s ticket office in Reykjavík’s old harbour.
