Reykjavík Sailors was established in 2015, located in the old harbour in Reykjavík. Experience the best Iceland has to offer. We offer a wide range of fun activities at sea including Whale Watching, Northern Lights, Puffin, Sea angling tour where we taste the catch of the day straight from the sea.

Our tours are a unique experience and we do our best to make this a lifetime experience for our customers and enjoy the splendid scenery around the coast of Iceland in the warmth and safety of our comfortable whaler.

There are locations around the world that offer whale watching but few do it as well as our Reykjavik captain and crew and rarely year-round. Our goal is to send you home with several sightings and photos to remind you of your vacation for years to come.

We spend 3-3,5 hours on the water, searching for and marvelling over the marine life. Our experienced guides can answer any questions you may have and will tell you about each whale as you see it. Watch for Minke whales, Dolphins and Humpbacks on a Whale Watching cruise from Reykjavik and take in views of the coast from an open viewing platform or an enclosed cabin.

Many bird species can be spotted too, including adorable Puffins in the summer season. The peak season for whale watching extends from April to October, but of course, the ocean is always full of magical creatures, and you never know what you might see. This boat trip gives you the unique opportunity to see some of Iceland's most beautiful marine animals, along with the stunning scenery of the Icelandic coast.

On the cold winter nights, we take you away from the city glow for the best views of the Northern Lights. Sail out of Reykjavik on this 2-hour cruise and enjoy incredible views of the city and the sky. Enjoy snacks and refreshments in a heated indoor bar or put on some warm overalls and sit out on the deck to watch the stars and the light show above.

Please note: Whale Watching is a natural activity governed by the laws of the weather. If the trip is cancelled due to bad weather, the Whale Watching ticket is refunded if the following tour was not joined before or you can change your reservation to the next available day.
