Newly renovated and comfortable hostel in Laugardalur Park, next to the city's largest geothermal pool and Reykjavík Campsite. Excellent facilities for groups of all sizes, families and individuals alike. It is only 3 km from the city center, which is easily reachable by foot, bike or bus #14.

Choose between wide range of private rooms and 4-6 bedded dorms, most are equipped with private bathroom. Linen is included.

Our cozy family friendly Dalur Cafe has local food, craft beer and some great coffee with homemade cakes. There is free WIFI all over and fully equipped kitchens.

As our guests you have complemantary access to laundry facilities.

Reykjavik - Dalur HI Hostel offers free luggage storage upon arrival and departure. Dalur hostel – cafe – bar hosts various events a few times a month, such as swap markets, arts and crafts nights, concerts and many more. All events are free entry and welcome to all. Also there´s happy hour every day between 5PM and 6PM.

We are at the reception to help you out with anything you need; give you the local scoop on our quarky city and arrange your excursions, with pick-up as well as free parking.
