Cafe Norðurfjörður is a operational café and restaurant in Norðurfjörður, located in Árneshreppur. The café has been open since 2008 over the summer months and is now open from the start of June till end of August. Unique natural beauty, gorgeous mountains, shores and many hiking paths. Only 3 km from Kaffi Norðurfjörður is the Krossnes swimming pool. A completely unique phenomenon. The hot water comes from the mountain sides above and the pool is located on the shore itself. There is also a hot tub and seals can be sighted nearby, enjoying the peace and quiet.
