Klausturhof Guesthouse
Klaustur-Hof Guesthouse is located in the village Kirkjubæjarklaustur in the southeast, the warmest region of iceland, with mild winters and sunny summers.
It is under the picturesque of the Kirkjubæjarklaustur mountains at the riverside of Skaftá, halfway between marvellous glaciers in west and east.
Klaustur-Hof Guesthouse is located at Klaustursquere in the inner part of the village where the waterfall Systrafoss is falling from the lake Systravatn.
Klaustur-Hof is built of several recently rebuilt houses from last century. The houses were originally built for cooperated commercial activities. The oldest one, built in 1936 and housed the first co-op shop in the district, we have our coffee house Kaffi-Munkar.
