IceGuide is a family run company, owned by Óskar Arason who is the company’s tour guide, and his wife & Manager, Íris Heiður Jóhannsdóttir. Óskar is born and raised in the realm of Vatnajökull Glacier and being passionate for the outdoors, he enjoys mountaineering, climbing and glacier hiking. Óskar is also an active member of the Search and Rescue team of Höfn, so you could say he is more than qualified to guide travellers through the region in an effective and safe manner.

In the winter time (Nov-March) Iceguide offers ice cave tours, where you’ll visit unique ice caves in one of Vatnajökull outlet glaciers. It is a breathtaking experience for anyone who wants to explore the unique atmosphere of the stunning world of natural ice sculpture and formations.

The Glacier Kayak Adventure is a unique tour and the ultimate way to experience the magnificence of the Vatnajökull National Park. You’ll have the opportunities to enjoy unbeatable panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers reflected upon the mirror-like water of Heinaberg Lagoon and the Glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón.

IceGuide will provide you with an informative, personal and a memorable experience in the stunning surroundings of Vatnajökull Glacier.
