Vestman Island ferry Herjólfur

Vestmannaeyjar waits for you! The Herjólfur ferry has been in use since july 2019. It carries up to 540 passengers and approximatelt 75 vehicles. The ferry is hybrid and aims to improve the enviroment towards a greener future.
On board the ferry you can take a seat in the cafeteria and enjoy a variety of refreshments.

Sailing with Herjólfur is a low-cost, compartable and enjoyable way to travel to Vestmannaeyjar. The route from Landeyjahöfn is interesting and the scenery is unlike anything you have ever seen.
