Hannesarholt

Hannesarholt is a home of culture, open to all, where food, culture and history go hand in hand. Hannesarholt is a non-profit organization, in a historic home of Hannes Hafstein, our first Icelandic Minister of State. The house was built in 1915, right between our turf-house past and modern day Iceland. All our food is home made on site, from best available ingredients, with minimal environmental footprints. Lunch or week-end brunch 6 days a week (except Mondays), dinner before events. In Hannesarholt you get to enjoy food, literature, music, art, history and community.
