Grímsey Ferry Sæfari

The ferry Sæfari maintains a year-round schedule between Dalvík town and Grímsey. Dalvík is situated about 45 km north of Akureyri and is approximately a 40-minute drive from there. The journey to Grímsey takes approximately 3 hours each way, and the ferry can accommodate up to 108 passengers, along with cars and cargo. During the winter, the ferry operates three to four times a week, while in the summer, it runs five times a week.
