Gaukurinn

Gaukurinn is a live music venue and bar, situated in downtown Reykjavík.

Concerts and events are held every week, the schedule is available on our website and Facebook page. We offer a wide range of live music, mostly Icelandic bands but sometimes foreign musicians as well. All genres of music are welcome at Gaukurinn.
We host all kinds of other events, such as birthday parties, stand-up, meetings, pub quizzes or whatever else comes up. Please contact us if you need a place to host your event.

After recent changes Gaukurinn has a new, top notch stage and sound system. We have also renovated and redecorated the place in general, we encourage you to come and experience the new look of Gaukurinn! We also have a lovely outdoor terrace which serves as a smoking corner on concert nights and an outside seating area when the sun shines.
