Egilsstaðir 1 is located in a peaceful environment on the banks of the Þjórsá river only 70km from Reykjavík close to Route 1. The scenery is exceptionally wide and the farm offers a beautiful view of the volcano Hekla, the glacier Eyjafjallajökull and the Westman Islands. From May 1st until September 30th we offer one week vacation packages in a familiar atmosphere with accommodation in cozy double rooms in the farm house or in one of our three summerhouses that host from two to four people. The package includes full boarding, horse riding and sightseeing tours. During off-season we offer our summerhouses for self-catering or individual holiday packages upon request.
