Berg Guesthouse

The guesthouse at Berg is located on Sandi in Aðaldal. It is surrounded by magnificent nature and a diverse bird life. The guesthouse is at the edge of Aðaldalshraun, which is a lava field that is particularly beautiful and has varied lava formations; it is also covered with low birch and bushes. Through the lava field many interesting walking paths can be found. There is an extraordinary view from the guesthouse Berg to the north over Skjálfandi bay and to Kinnarfjöll (Kinnarmountains) in the west.

The nearest town is Húsavík, 18 km away from the guesthouse, and there you find various service and interesting activities. In Húsavík is the nearest shop to the Berg Guesthouse, so travellers have either to bring food with them or drive to Húsavík to get supplies.
