Sauðlauksdalur
Patreksfjörður
Sauðlauksdalur is a former church site and large farm on the south side of Patreksfjörður. The Earth is deserted. Reverend Björn Halldórsson was pastor in Sauðlauksdalur in the middle of the 18th century and grew potatoes there as the first Icelander in 1760. The present church was built in 1863. It is believed that Niels Björnsson was at work. The tower was added to the front of the church in 1901-02.
